2026-09-25 - SingerAccess

Release of SingerAccess, a virtual singer for REAPER. You write a melody in MIDI, type its lyrics, and SingerAccess sings them exactly on your notes and in time with your project, in French or in English. You choose a male or female voice by listening to it, then adjust its colour, its vibrato, its breaths and its transpose. Lyrics are written like plain text, one line per phrase, with simple signs to hold a note, breathe, split a word or force a sound. Every sung version is a take you keep or delete, and a guide synth plays the exact notes along with the voice, so you hear at once whether it follows the melody. When the singing sounds right, one command prints it to an audio file on a voice track, ready to mix. Thirty-three voices are included, and everything is done from the keyboard, with a screen reader and a Braille display. SingerAccess is a VST3 plugin for REAPER on Windows. Release of HammondAccess, which puts the Hammond B3 organ and its Leslie speaker in your hands, entirely from the keyboard, with a screen reader and a Braille display. As on a real B3, all 38 drawbars are there, with the preset keys, percussion, vibrato and chorus, the tube amplifier's overdrive, reverb, the expression pedal and the Leslie cabinet, whose horn and drum speed up and slow down like the real thing. Every drawbar, every switch and every setting is spoken and shown in Braille, so you shape your sound by ear. 78 factory registrations are ready to play, from classic jazz, gospel and blues settings to theatre organ, and some fifty fine settings let you voice the organ like a technician. Play from a single keyboard with the keyboard split, or connect two keyboards and a pedalboard, each on its own manual. Release of SplitterAccessPro, which separates any recording into distinct tracks: the vocals on one side and the instrumental on the other, or six tracks — bass, drums, guitar, piano, vocals and the rest. It goes further when you need it: the parts of the drum kit one by one, the lead vocal on one side and everything else on the other, backing vocals included, a male voice and a female voice, the strings, or one of the forty instruments it knows, from saxophone to violin. It also cleans up what gets in the way: reverb, echo and delay, chorus and doubling on a vocal, background noise, the crowd at a concert, breaths, and the bleed of one instrument into another's microphone. In REAPER, you pick an item and press one key: the separated tracks come back into your project under a folder track, at the right place and the right length, and a single undo takes it all back. The standalone application lets you compare the results by ear, each track with its own mute, solo and volume. It records what you play, plays it back as a loop, and lets you layer more while you play: up to 16 mono or stereo loops, each with its own volume, pan and state, driven from the keyboard or from a MIDI pedalboard. Record, overdub, multiply, insert, replace, reverse, mute, solo and undo layer by layer are each one key, or one stomp, and the looper always tells you what it is doing. A tempo grid with a metronome keeps your loops in time, whether it comes from the built-in tempo, your drum machine or REAPER, with thirteen click sound sets included. In REAPER, it reads your pedalboard directly, Program Change and MIDI clock included, and your loops are kept in the project or saved as complete sessions. An accessible manual is included in English and French.

Release of TempoDetectorAccess, a VST3 plugin for REAPER and a standalone application that finds the tempo and the bars of a song and writes them into REAPER for you. Import an audio item, let the plugin analyse it, and you get the full list of bars with their tempo, number of beats and position, all read and corrected from the keyboard with a screen reader and a Braille display. Detection uses a neural network trained on real music, with three models included. When a bar is wrong, you fix it by ear, with a metronome that plays your own click sounds; one command then writes the tempo map into the project, and the result can also be exported as a click track, a MIDI file or a text list. Release of SFZ2Access, a free and fully accessible instrument player for the SFZ and SF2 (SoundFont) formats, available as a VST3 plugin and a standalone application for Windows. Designed from the outset for blind and visually impaired musicians, it is driven entirely from the keyboard with screen readers and Braille displays, with an Explorer-style library browser and savable user presets. It plays up to four instruments at once, each with its own key and velocity range, transpose, envelope, filter, vibrato and insert effects; the number of keyswitches is announced as soon as you select a preset, and articulations are spoken as you play. It ships with a large free factory library of over 1,200 instruments, installable by category, and also loads your own SFZ and SF2 files.

Official release of FRABBIT 1.0.1, a single program to install and keep your entire accessible REAPER environment up to date, for Windows and macOS. FRABBIT is a fork of RABBIT, to which we added the resources offered by ReaperAccessible — including a choice, at install time, of the ReaperAccessible KeyMaps (USA, French France, or French Canada) alongside your existing shortcuts or OSARA's own key map, with automatic backup of your current configuration before anything is replaced. FRABBIT installs and updates REAPER, OSARA, the SWS Extension, ReaPack, ReaKontrol, Snowman's JAWS scripts, FFmpeg, and Surge XT, entirely from the keyboard. It runs on Windows 64-bit and on macOS universal (Apple Silicon and Intel in the same download), and its interface is fully bilingual (English and French) with automatic language detection.
