SplitterAccessLight separates any song into independent tracks, directly within REAPER: vocals, drums, bass, guitar, piano, instrumental. One action, one dialogue, and the tracks appear in your project. Fully accessible to screen readers. Everything is built-in: no additional installation, no uploading your files to the internet.
Presentation
SplitterAccessLight is a native extension for REAPER, on Windows and macOS, that uses artificial intelligence to separate a mixed recording into distinct tracks.
Select a track, launch the SplitterAccessLight "Split audio track into stems" action, choose your mode, and SplitterAccessLight creates a folder of tracks under the source track, aligned in the same place, ready to be mixed, re-recorded, or studied.
Five modes, according to your needs
- 6 tracks: drums, bass, guitar, piano, other tracks, and vocals.
- 4 tracks: drums, bass, other tracks and vocals, good quality.
- 2 quick tracks: instrumental and vocal, in under a minute for a three-minute song.
- 2 very high-quality tracks, for a cleaner vocal sound.
- 2 tracks of maximum quality, for the most demanding applications.
You can choose to process the entire track, the selected object, or the time selection. An option removes the vocal reverb, leaving you with two tracks: the dry vocals and the reverb alone, which you can then adjust. If needed, the original track is automatically muted. Your last settings are saved.
Designed for accessibility
SplitterAccessLight was designed by and for musicians who work with screen readers. The dialogue uses only standard controls, read by NVDA on Windows and VoiceOver on Mac. Progress is displayed as a true system bar, announced naturally. With OSARA, the start and end of processing are announced. No graphic elements to guess, no hidden gestures.
Everything is included
The artificial intelligence engines and their models come with the extension. Nothing to install, nothing to configure, no connection required to separate: your recordings never leave your machine. The calculation uses the CPU, or the graphics card when available.
A single cancellation order
The result is inserted into a single undo block: a Ctrl+Z, and your project is restored to its previous state.
System Requirements
- REAPER 6 or later.
- Windows 10 or 11 64-bit, or macOS 12 or later on Apple Silicon. Approximately 2.5 GB of disk space.
Higher quality modes require more processing time; estimated times are displayed in the dialog box.

Installation
SplitterAccessLight is installed and kept up to date through the ReaperAccessible Installer Manager, a single accessible application that downloads and installs our products for you. There are no archives to extract by hand.
