VocalAccess
The vocal pitch editor built from the ground up for blind musicians.
VocalAccess is the first vocal pitch editor that is 100% accessible to screen readers (NVDA and JAWS) and braille displays. Where other pitch editors are driven with a mouse on on-screen curves, VocalAccess announces every note, every value, every setting, and everything is done from the keyboard: no mouse, no curves to guess at.
Load a vocal take: VocalAccess detects the sung notes, lets you audition them one by one, and you correct what you want, note by note or in one move across the whole take. The sound stays natural and warm, without the robotic artifacts of automatic correctors.
What you get:
- Nine editing tools: pitch, modulation and vibrato, drift, formant (timbre), timing, note transitions, fades, sibilants and dynamics.
- Correct Pitch: tune the whole take with one command, with an adjustable amount to keep the expressiveness of the performance.
- Auto Volume: automatic smoothing of the vocal level, gentle or stronger, with attack and sibilant protection.
- Note leveling: rebalance notes that are too shy and notes that are too loud, each at the strength you choose.
- Key and scale: pick your song's scale from 14 scales, or let the chromatic mode accept everything; VocalAccess also suggests the key it detected.
- Editing by ear: note splitting with audible scrubbing, joining, deletion, unlimited undo.
- REAPER integration: import the selected item, hear the corrected version in context in your mix, then send the result back as a new take.
- Standalone application with full-precision WAV export, to work without a DAW.
Runs as a VST3 in REAPER, or as a standalone app. Free 30-day trial: try everything, no limits, before you buy.
A voice in tune. Without barriers.
Available only on Windows, as a standalone application or as VST3
