Welcome to the DrumAccess libraries page


We are very happy to present our drum libraries, usable by everyone, but specially designed for the blind.


Since 2023, ReaperAccessible has been committed to creating drum libraries specifically for blind musicians using Reaper. We've integrated tools like the Behringer X-Touch Universal control surface and CSI, as well as OSARA settings, to ensure an accessible and immersive musical experience for everyone.

ReaperAccessible has two recording studios, one in Montreal, Canada, and another in Clermont-Ferrand, France. In this video, we invite you to discover our Montreal studio, where we capture the Mapex - Mars Birch Shell Pack drums Kit to create high-quality samples.

Throughout the centuries, many blind musicians have left an indelible mark on the world of music, demonstrating an extraordinary ability to transcend their visual limitations to express their art. Here are some of these notable musicians:

Ray Charles (1930-2004)

Ray Charles, famous American singer, pianist and composer, is known for his invaluable contribution to soul, blues, and jazz music. Blind since the age of seven due to glaucoma, he left his mark on entire generations with hits like “Georgia on My Mind” and “Hit the Road Jack”. His musical virtuosity and soulful voice made him a legend.

Stevie Wonder (born 1950)

Stevie Wonder, born prematurely with retinopathy of prematurity, is an American artist, singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. His prolific career and iconic albums like "Innervisions" and "Songs in the Key of Life" have earned him 25 Grammy Awards. Known for her distinctive voice and talent for playing numerous instruments, Stevie Wonder has transcended musical and visual boundaries.

Andrea Bocelli (born 1958)

Andrea Bocelli, world-renowned Italian tenor, was left blind at the age of 12 following a football accident. Despite this early visual loss, he became one of the world's most beloved classical artists, with albums like "Romanza" and "Time to Say Goodbye." His powerful and emotive voice has touched millions of people around the world.

José Feliciano (born in 1945)

José Feliciano, Puerto Rican guitarist and singer, has been blind since birth due to congenital glaucoma. Known for his unique style of fusion between flamenco, pop and rock, he marked the 1960s and 1970s. His exceptional guitar technique and warm voice made him an international musical icon.

Jeff Healey (1966-2008)

Jeff Healey, world-renowned Canadian guitarist, lost his sight at a very young age due to retinoblastoma. Known for his unique guitar playing technique, he marked the 1980s and 1990s with his blues-rock style. Albums like “See the Light” demonstrated his exceptional talent and lasting influence in the music world.

Mélodie Gardot (born in 1985)

Mélodie Gardot, American singer, songwriter and musician, lost much of her vision following an accident at the age of 19. His music, mixing jazz, blues and pop,is imbued with his unique sensitivity and musical talent. Albums like “My One and Only Thrill” and “Currency of Man” captivated a wide audience with their emotional depth.

These blind musicians have not only enriched the global musical landscape with their talent and dedication, but they have also demonstrated that music is a universal form of expression that transcends physical limitations, inspiring entire generations through their stories and their performance.
