Here is the LBL add-on for NVDA, offered free to the community.
Before using this add-on, please read the following terms of use carefully:
By installing and using the LBL add-on for NVDA, you automatically accept the terms set out in this document. You acknowledge and accept potential risks associated with its use, including but not limited to security, compatibility, and performance risks. These terms of use may change at any time without notice. It is your responsibility to regularly check the ReaperAccessible website for updates.
You declare that you have read, understood, and accepted the terms stated in this document. If you do not accept these terms, do not install or use this add-on.
The LBL add-on for NVDA is distributed as free software. You are free to copy, modify, and redistribute this add-on. However, any modification is made at your own risk, and ReaperAccessible does not guarantee compatibility or stability of modified versions.
ReaperAccessible and its developers cannot be held liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use this add-on.
ReaperAccessible will provide technical support where possible, but no guarantee is given regarding availability or resolution of issues encountered while using the LBL add-on for NVDA.
Once you have installed the LBL add-on and start a supported program such as REAPER, the add-on activates immediately. However, if a problem occurs, it may disrupt accessibility in REAPER or even cause NVDA malfunctions. Keep in mind that expectations of perfect operation are not always realistic, especially with free software. As long as you have not paid for the software, developers are not legally obligated to ensure flawless operation. By using free software and free add-ons like LBL, you implicitly assume the role of a beta tester, which may affect stability and behavior. Before updating the LBL add-on or NVDA, it is recommended to create a portable copy of NVDA. If a problem occurs, you can then uninstall NVDA and reinstall your portable copy as a fallback.
Please note that the LBL add-on is not subject to the NVDA Add-ons Development and Review Process. Consequently, we are not required to comply with the rules associated with it.
If you have a problem or question about using the LBL add-on for NVDA, do not use the Reaper mailing list (rwp@groups.io) to request assistance or report issues. For technical help or to report problems related to the LBL add-on for NVDA, contact ReaperAccessible directly at reaperaccessible@gmail.com. We are available to respond to your requests and provide the necessary assistance.
ReaperAccessible and its developers disclaim any responsibility for disruptions caused by members of the “rwp” mailing list or any other discussion list about REAPER, OSARA, NVDA, or any other accessibility forum when the issue stems from the LBL add-on. It is up to the moderators of those lists to make the proper distinction in such cases.
Follow these steps to install LBL.
If you are a Sibiac user, uninstall it along with the associated OCR module. It is not possible to have Sibiac and LBL active at the same time in REAPER. Therefore, to use Kontakt full version 6 or 7, as well as all VSTs supported by Sibiac with LBL, you must uninstall Sibiac and Sibiac OCR.
We have integrated Sibiac code into LBL. LBL supports the same plug-ins as Sibiac as well as Kontakt full versions 6 and 7, and other plug-ins. You must install both LBL and LBL OCR add-ons, which are located in the installation folder.
To do this, open the files by pressing Enter and follow the instructions.
